Women's day Celebrated at Gulbarga – 8 March 2018

“It is not enough to celebrate the women’s day once in a year. The women’s day has to be celebrated everyday for equality. Though years are gone still we lack equality for the gender. The women need to strengthen their representation in politics and business.” Said Mr. R Venkatesh Kumar. IAS, on the occasion of the celebration of the Women’s day at Gulbarga. The event was organized by District Administration, Govt. Departments and NGOs. The meeting felicitated the best anganwadi workers and prominent women activists in the district. About 1500 women gathered at Pandit Rangamadira to mark the day. The gathering dispersed after having a sumptuous meal.
