Night Vigil on Women’s Day 2018

Marking the international women's day a memorable one Janavadi Mahila Sangadane, Samajika Parivarthana Janandolana, Don Bosco, Savasnagama, Domostic workers Union, Pragnya Kanonu Salaha Smamathi and likeminded individuals and organizations staged a night vigil at the District Collector's office, Kalaburagi. The night vigil was to bring to the attention of the concerned people and department about the atrocities against women and children. The people spent time in making portraits of issues, singing songs and bhajans, reciting poems, talks. About 200 people gathered for the event. The drama "karalakudi maradiri" don't sell your child, acted out during teh night vigil touched the people gathered. Mr. Beemashankar Teggeli, ADC, met the people gathered and received the memorandum from Ms. K Neela, State vice president of anavadi Mahila Sangadane, and the people gathered.
