Child Rights Training at Nutan Vidyalaya Back
Don Bosco PYaR, Kalaburagi conducted Child Rights Training (CRT) programme at Nutan Vidyalaya Girls High School, Kalaburagi on February 16, 2015. “If you find children at risk, inform the matter immediately to CHILDLINE 1098”, said Uma Patel, Asst. Headmaster, Nutan Vidyalaya Girls High School, Kalaburagi. Basavaraj Jawali, Social Activist, Don Bosco PYaR, giving awareness on child rights said that children have crucial role in protection and promotion of child rights.

Jyoti, Counselor, CHILDLINE 1098, Don Bosco PYaR, speaking on CHILDLINE 1098, exhorted children to avail the services of the project. Awareness about POCSO Act 2012 was given followed by the screening of the short film, ‘Komal’. Mapanna Holker, Coordinator, Missing Child Bureau (MCB) said that everyone should be prompt in reporting the cases of missing children.

Over 120 students, teachers, CREAM staff and non teaching staff were present for the programme. Sudha Pala welcomed and compered the gathering and Rajkumar MD proposed vote of thanks.
