Childline Organizes Open House at Mandewal Back
CHILDLINE 1098, Don Bosco PYaR organized Open House (Makkala Sabha) at Govt. High School, Mandewal, Jewargi on February 25, 2015. “Everyone should make optimum use of the services of CHILDLINE for children in need of care and protection”, said Arjun Malleval, Teacher, Govt. High School, Mandewal, Jewargi as he addressed the gathering. Basavaraj Jawali, Social Activist, CREAM, Don Bosco PYaR, said that children should cultivate mutual respect, team spirit and leadership in order to partakers in the noble task of nation-building.

Jyoti, Counselor, CHILDLINE, exhorted the children make timely telephone calls to the helpline that the prevention of rights violation and protection of child rights could become more efficient. The children and teachers interacted with the team, shared their views and issues they face. The team visited Nelogi Police Station and requested the police personnel to join hands in ensuring care and protection of children.

Sumangaladevi, President, Gram Panchayat, Mandewal, Jewargi, Soubhagyalaxmi, In Charge Headmaster, Govt. High School, Mandewal, Jewargi, Fr. Prasad SDB, Project Director, Don Bosco PYaR, Kalburgi, over 330 children, teachers and staff were present for the programme. Mapanna welcomed the gathering, Ramesh compered the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
