Training On Cattle Rearing Organized at Hagarga Thanda Back
Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM), Don Bosco, Kalaburagi organized a training programme on cattle-rearing for members of Women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) at Hagarga Thanda, Kalaburagi on June 20, 2015. “Women, especially those from the rural areas should involve themselves in income generating activities such as cattle-rearing, candle/incense sticks making, poultry farming etc. to become self-reliant”, said Dr. Prahlad, Kalaburagi. Mallappa Rajoor, Coordinator, CHILDLINE, Kalaburagi encouraged the participants to avail the services of CHILDLINE 1098 for children in need of care and protection.

Basavaraj Jawali, Social Activist, Don Bosco PYaR, Kalaburagi exhorted the participants to implement the suggestions of the resource person, that there may be a qualitative difference in cattle-rearing. Fr. Prasad, Project Director, Don Bosco, staff and over forty members of the various Self Help Groups in the village participated in the programme. Jyoti welcomed and Channabasava proposed the vote of thanks.
