Training On Cattle Rearing Organized at Pattan, Kalaburagi Back
Child Rights Education and Action Movement (CREAM), Don Bosco, Kalaburagi organized a training programme on cattle-rearing for members of Women’s Self Help Groups (SHGs) at Pattan, Kalaburagi, on September 23, 2015. “Cattle-rearing is an income generating activity that is comparatively viable and economically profitable for rural women”, said Dr. Prahlad, Kalaburagi. Mallappa Rajoor, Coordinator, CHILDLINE, Kalaburagi encouraged the participants to avail the services of CHILDLINE 1098 for children in need of care and protection.

Basavaraj Jawali, Social Activist, Don Bosco PYaR, Kalaburagi told the participants to become role models of self-reliance, by venturing into income generating activities as per the suggestions and directions of the resource person, Dr. Prahlad. Mapanna Holker, Coordinator, Missing Child Bureau (MCB), Rajkumar, Social Activist, CREAM, staff and over fifty members of the various Self Help Groups in the village participated in the programme. Vital welcomed and Rajkumar proposed the vote of thanks.
