Aralali Balya Belagali Bhavishya concludion of a district level Child Rights Campaign Back
Aravind Kumar, Honorable Judge of High Court of Karnataka, Kalaburgi, has urged the public to join hands with the administration to put an end to child rights abuse. He was addressing a valedictory function organized to mark the end of a campaign for protecting child rights at S M Rangamdir at Kalaburgi. Three months long campaigning named Arali Balya Belagali Bhavishya was concluded on 10-02-2017. Many prominent people were present for the program. Honourable High Court Judges Krnataka, Kalaburgi Aravind Kumar, Ratnakala, S M Patil, Principal District Court and session court Judge B V Patil, Deputy Commissioner Ujjwal Kumar Ghosh, Z P CEO Anirudh Sravan, Suprintend of Police Shashil Kumar and many other dignitaries were present for the occasion.

The campaign achieved in creating awareness for one Lakh High School Children and 95,000 PUC students through essay, speech and written examination. 6,000 SHG group were given awareness through printed awareness materials. 9000 children were given certificate in Schools and colleges which was sponsored by BREADS, Bangalore. 135 children were given cash awards as they have come first, second and third in Taluka and district level competitions.

Mr. C V Raman, District Child Protection Officer, Kalaburgi thanked Don Bosco CREAM for all their part in the campaign and the Child Rights programs held in the district.

Mr. Harish Jogi, UNICEF, Koppala was the resource person for the event. The CDPOs of every Taluka, Supervisors from the villages, all the important officers of the department of education and health, all the Child Marriage Prohibition Officers and children, totalling to 1500 gathered for the program. A dance from Don Bosco Evening Study Center has stolen the heart of the audience. State Anthem was sung by the Blind school children and a patriotic dance was put up by CRC club member Sumayya, Anchana Deaf and Dump School Kalaburgi.
